Pakistan, an artificial nation was carved out by vivisecting our motherland by our erstwhile British rulers in 1947.  Its raison d’etre is the two nation theory based on the hatred for and separateness from Hindus and Hinduism. Pakistan, the egg of western imperialism was itself broken up in 1971 when Bangladesh broke free after the most horrific genocide since the second world war was enacted by the Pakistan Army busting the myth of the two nation theory.

Fast forward to 2025. The Pakistani Army Chief Gen (now “Field Marshal” Asim Munir suddenly reignited the two nation theory spewing venom against Hindus at a gathering of expatriate Pakistanis in Islamabad on the 18th April 2025. It acted as the proverbial dog whistle for terrorists in Kashmir sponsored by Pakistan who enacted a ghastly massacre of 26 Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, by singling them out and gunning them down, many of them in front of their family members. On the 7th May the Government of India launched Operation Sindoor as a calibrated, deliberate, precise and strategic military response to Pakistan’s terrorist act eliminating multiple terrorist infrastructures across the line of control with missiles launched from surface as well as air without crossing the LOC. The Pakistani Air Force and its air defence system tried to counter it unsuccessfully making instead unsubstantiated claims of having downed five Indian aircraft, three of them being our state-of-the-art Rafales. Thereafter Pakistan tried to get even by launching a massive counterattack with Turkish drones and Chineses missiles all along the international border from Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir to Bhuj in Gujrat. This was completely neutralised by our Integrated Counter UAS(Unmanned Aerial Systems) grid and Air Defence Systems including our legacy air defence systems like the Pechora, OSA-AK and LLAD (Low Level Air Defence) guns, the indigenous Akash system combining the Air Force, Army and Naval assets which worked with outstanding synergy creating an impenetrable wall against multiple retaliatory attempts by the enemy.

The next morning, on the 8th May, the Indian Armed Forces targetted the Pakistani Air Defence Radars and systems at several locations in Pakistan. The main air defence system in Lahore was destroyed.

Thereafter our air strikes hit key enemy air bases like Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi), Rahimyar Khan, Sargoda, Chuniyan, Bholari, Masrur, Murid and Jacobabad employing loitering munitions (Drones) and “Brahmos” missiles with pin point accuracy incurring no loss of Indian assets. The IAF jammed and bypassed Pakistan’s air defence systems, completing the entire mission in an astounding 23 minutes.

On May 9-10, our multilayered defence systems completely thwarted the Pakistani attempts to counterattack our airfields and logistic installations and the Golden Temple in Amritsar with drones. These systems built over the last decade with continuous government efforts put up a stellar performance ensuring the protection of our civilian and military infrastructure.

Thus, Operation Sindoor is not just a story of our tactical success but a vindication of India’s defence indigenization policy.

On the 10th May, India relented in response to the Pakistani DGMOP (Director General of Military Operations)’s frantic calls for a ceasefire to his Indian counterpart. Donald Trump, the US President was the first to announce it claiming credit for having brokered peace duly earning India’s ire and snubbing by a public denial of his claim by Modiji, our PM.

Subsequent revelations have indicated that the Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi) was actually a US air base with a Nuclear Command and Control Centre within the Hardened Deep Buried Target (HDBT), which was vaporized in the heat generated by the Indian missile strike entering through its AC duct. It is not known clearly whether there were US military personnel among the casualties as human remains could not be revovered from within the rubble. It was only after this missile strike and the one at Jacobabad that frantic phone calls from Washington started reaching New Delhi. Two more targets, a radar at the Mangla corps headquarters in POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) and the airfield at Pasni near Pakistan’s seacoast 600 kms from the Indian border where the entire F16 fleet was secretly being sheltered escaped being hit, the latter by the INS Vikrant and its accompanying battle group was about to launch the attack due to the sudden ceasefire announcement, much to the chagrin of the Indian Navy which was itching to go for the kill. Significantly enough, Sri Rajnath Singh – the defence minister made an announcement from aboard one of our naval ships that the Navy would spearhead the next phase of Operation Sindoor.

In the wake of Operation Sindoor, the length and breadth of Pakistan has been rocked by a series of minor earthquakes thirty to forty in number over a period of two to three weeks, varying between 3 to 5 on the Richter scale. It is being widely speculated that the reason for the earthquakes is continuous defusing of hidden US nuclear arsenal in Pakistan’s HDBTs, 12 of which were hit during Operation Sindoor. Rumors are also rife that these US assets including US F16 and F35 aircraft were secretly being sheltered in Pakistan waiting for the signal to either attack Iran, which is on the cusp of attaining nuclear weapons as well as the counter China if exigencies so demand. This is also a plausible explanation for the US’s misplaced benevolence and the showering of the World Banks largesse on Pakistan despite Pakistan’s abysmal proven track record of being the epicenter of global jihadi terror. Adding to Pakistan’s woes is the declaration of independence by Balochistan by Mir Yar Baloch and the Baloch freedom movement led by Mehran Baloch besides relentless attacks by the Baloch Liberation Army and the Tehrik-e-Taliban-i Pakistan. Operations carried out on a daily basis by these outfits and killing of civilians by the Pak Army have cost Pakistan a staggering 85000 lives. Pakistan is on the verge of splintering as Bhagwanji, the reclusive saint of Faizabad had once predicted (খন্ড: খন্ডা:, খন্ডা:)
